Vision of EC Gastroenterology and Digestive System Special Issue

Gastroenterology mainly focuses on the digestive system and its disorders. The digestive system is vital to the whole functioning of the body. This branch of science is mainly concerned with disorders and conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, more specifically with the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines (colon), pancreas and liver. As gastric problems have become a major problem today, both clinical and basic research of the digestive system ranging from the anatomy of digestive system to the most effective treatment of gastrointestinal disorders has become most essential. Advancements in the field of gastroenterology research play a major role in building a safe and healthy society. Therefore, this special issue desires to serve the scientific community by exploring the ideas of the scientific researchers in all the aspects of gastroenterological technologies and digestive disorders.
