Vision of EC Diabetes and Metabolic Research Special Issue

Metabolism refers to the chemical reactions that take place inside the cells of living organisms which are essential for life. The metabolism of people with diabetes is almost identical to the metabolism of people without diabetes. The only difference is the volume and/or effectiveness of the insulin produced by the body. Research on Diabetes and Metabolism is very essential as Diabetes has become one of the huge problems that are being faced. Today, both clinical and basic research on Diabetes and Metabolism has become most essential. Scientific research is also taking place to look for causes and possible treatment in Diabetic and Metabolic disorders. Advancements in the field of Diabetes and Metabolic Research play a major role in building a safe and healthy society. Therefore, this special issue is dedicated to cover all the significant areas of diabetes and metabolic disorders with a goal to disseminate valuable knowledge.
