Dr. Jiayan Pan is a faculty member in the Department of Social Work in Hong Kong Baptist University. She obtained her PhD degree in social work in The University of Hong Kong. Dr. Pan was trained in psychology and social work in both Mainland China and Hong Kong. Her research has been focused on resilience and mental health of university students, particularly of Chinese international students, and cognitive behavioural intervention for student clients. She has also developed and validated various scales for Chinese populations. She has published nearly 30 journal papers and delivered more than 10 conference presentations in these areas.
