Dr. Rashid Anjum has training and research background encompassing the spectrum of adult and Paediatric Orthopaedic conditions, including, Trauma, Tumours and Spinal deformities. His training began at the Sher-e- Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences and completed his basic training in Orthopaedics from Government Medical College, Jammu. He worked as a Senior Registrar in the prestigious AIIMS New Delhi before heading for his fellowship training, which was completed at the Childrenís Orthopaedics centre, Mumbai where he worked with Prof. Ashok N Johari who is an internationally acclaimed Paediatric Orthopaedic and Spine surgeon. He has extensive research background and is on the editorial panel of many international journals beside being a reviewer to many national and international journals. He has many scientific publications to his credit in national and international journals.
Rashid Anjum Research Interests are Congenital anomalies and deformities in children and their management. Early onset Scoliosis, Cerebral Palsy, Paediatric Trauma and Neglected Injuries.
