Dr. Nazzareno Fagoni was graduated 110/110 cum Laude in 2005 at the University of Brescia, had his specialization in Anesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine, Pain Medicine and Hyperbaric Medicine in 2010 (50/50 cum Laude). In 2017 Doctor of Philosophy in “Science of Physical Exercise and Human Movement”, school of Translational Biomedicine (University of Verona). In 2016, 3 months visiting researcher at the Zurich Centre for Integrative Human Physiology (University of Zurich). Consultant as critical care intensivist and anaesthetist since July 2010 at Spedali Civili University Hospital (Brescia, Italy). Since 2014 adjunct professor in “exercise science” (Master in “Science and Technology for Population Health and Wealth, University of Brescia), from 2013 to 2016 adjunct professor in “anaesthesia and basic life support” and “intensive care medicine” (Degree in “Science in Dental Hygiene”, University of Brescia). Collaboration since 2005 with the University of Geneve for experiments related to cardiovascular and respiratory physiology in health and disease (degree thesis, specialization thesis and PhD thesis). Since 2012, assistant in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine (Medical School, University of Brescia). Reviewer for the European Journal of Applied Physiology. In addition to publications comprised in journals specialized (intensive care medicine and respiratory and cardiovascular physiology), co-author in 2 international book chapter.
