Dr. Iman Ali Ba-Saddik is Associate Professor of Paediatrics in the Paediatrics and Child Health Department at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Aden, Yemen. She has clinical expertise in the Diagnosis and Management of Paediatric Diseases mainly in acquired heart diseases with main research interests in rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease, childhood tuberculosis, childhood diabetes mellitus, birth defects and neonatal problems. She teaches paediatric medicine theory and practice to fifth year medical students, interns and postgraduates in the same department. She is also the Communication Skills coordinator in the same faculty. She is also the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Aden. In addition, she has some clinical expertise in medical education.
Iman Ali Ba-Saddik Research Interests are Diagnosis and treatment of Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease, Epidemiological background and clinical aspects of Congenital Heart Disease, Pattern of congenital malformations among Yemeni children, Epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of Childhood Diabetes, Diagnosis and treatment of Childhood Tuberculosis.
