Dr Eleje is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi Campus, Nigeria and an Honorary Consultant Obstetrician-Gynecologist at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Nigeria. He is currently the Research Co-ordinator at the Effective Care Research Unit, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi Campus, Nigeria. He previously held the role of Deputy Editor, Afrimedic Journal and currently contributing to capacity building in training of over 300 Medical Students and Resident Doctors in Nigeria. He is a reviewer to five international Journals including Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. He is a Fellow of the South African Cochrane Center through a grant received from the Effective Health Care Research Consortium www.evidence4health.org. He is a contact person for three of Cochrane Systematic Reviews and co-author on three others in progress. Dr Eleje has numerous publications in local and international Journals.
