Biography

Dr. Wang is a faculty member of the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, USA. He undertook his PhD in the Department of Kinesiology at Arizona State University. Dr. Wang has done research involving issues related to cognitive aspects of motor control in healthy elderly and individuals with Parkinson's Disease. He lectures human motor behavior courses (motor control, learning, development).


Research Interest

Dr. Wang is interested in research questions, such as how movement information is stored, represented and retrieved in the brain, and how such information is transferred between the two brain hemispheres. He is also interested in investigating other issues involving observational learning, handedness, the effect of perception on motor learning, etc. Dr. Wang investigates these motor control/learning issues with various populations including healthy young and older adults, individuals with Parkinson’s disease and stroke survivors.
