Dr. A. Ahamed basha is a holder of Bachelor degree in Siddha Medicine & Surgery (2004) and a Masters (2008) and Doctorate degree (2014) in Medical Physiology. He has extensive clinical experience in Indigenous system of Medicine. He has wide experience in academic physiology besides handling several research positions and administrative responsibilities. Dr. A. Ahamed basha has 20 publications with demonstrated research expertise in clinical and experimental studies in human and animal models. In the year 2016, he received SIRI research award for the best research work in Stress Physiology and also received award for Best original research article from International Journal of Pharmacology and Clinical Sciences. Currently, he is working as Associate professor, Physiology, Chettinad hospital and Research Institute, India. He is native of Puducherry, India. He is married and has two kids. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his kids. His hobbies include craft making and reading books.
