Dr. Muñoz is a Colombian psychiatrist who works in private clinic at Bogota with adult outpatients with diverse pathologies specifically mood, affective and psychotic disorders. He was chief of the Psychiatry Department of the Central Military Hospital at Bogotá, Colombia, where he worked for 15 years with patients with severe pathologies such as psychosis and post-traumatic stress disorder after combat. As lecturer, he works as an Associate Professor at the Nueva Granada Military University for pre and post-graduate studies, director of several seminars, including Psychodynamic Bases of Psychiatry, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Essential Competences in Psychotherapy.
Special interest in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He has participated in several multicenter pharmacological studies since 1998. Publications of review articles and case studies in different indexed journals. Research interest in PTSD, psychotic disorders and cognitive therapy.
