Dr. Lolekha received his medical degree and residency in Neurology from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Following this, he completed a clinical fellowship in movement disorders at the Pacific Parkinson’s Research Centre (PPRC) at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Currently, he is an attending physician, medical instructor and Associate Professor of Neurology at Thammasat University, Thailand. He is also an invited reviewer for several international medical journals. He is also an invited neurology instructor for Chulabhon International College of Medicine. He is now the president of academic affairs of the Thai-Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Society (Thai-PDMDS). With this role, he organized academic activities and annual conference of the Thai-PDMDS.
His research interests are biomarkers, neuroimaging, cognitive disorders, gait and postural control, non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. He also interested in atypical parkinsonism, other movement disorders, and Alzheimer’s disease. In 2014, he received an outstanding young researcher award from Thammasat University.
