Dr. Sathisha Upparahalli Venkateshaiah received his PhD from University of Mysore, INDIA in 2011. He has gained expertise include tumor biology and metastasis, cell biology, natural compounds with anticancer properties, and carbohydrate-binding proteins. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral researcher at Eosinophilic Disorder Center, Section of Pulmonary Disease Critical Care & Environmental Medicine in Tulane University. His main research work focus on the role of interleukins, more specifically role of IL-18 in gastrointestinal eosinophils inflammation and IL-15 treatment strategy for pulmonary airway hyperactivity and fibrosis. He has published in Case Reports in Gastroenterology, Experimental Hematololgy, Biochimie, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Glycoconjugate J, Blood Cancer J, Clin Immunol and Immunology & cell biology, Food chemistry. He also served as section editor in Journal of Cancer and Clinical Oncology and also as peer reviewer in Life Science & others.
