Biography

Dr. Ifeyinwa Ifeanyi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine as well as a Clinical Specialist in the Department of Critical Care at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She completed her Medical Degree at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Medicine after which she did a clinical residency in Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center. Prior to her staff appointment, she completed a Clinical Fellowship in Cancer Anesthesia at MD Anderson.


Research Interest

Currently, her clinical research interests include the utilization of paravertebral nerve blocks in breast surgery as well as enhanced recovery after gynecologic, breast, and breast reconstructive surgery.
