Neri-Numa, Iramaia A. (MD., Doctor) act as researcher in the Laboratory of Bioflavours and Bioactive Compounds at Food Engineering School of University of Campinas, Campinas, Brazil. She has both Ph.D in Food Science with emphasis on functional foods and MD. degree Internal Medicine, specialization in Basic Scienses from University of Campinas. She has been interested in searching chemistry of the natural products, bioprospection of bioactive compounds derived from fruits of Brazilian biodiversity, using tests to assess the antioxidant capacity using cellular model, activity cytotoxic, antitumor, genotoxicity and toxicity in vitro/in vivo toxicity.
