Dr. Hua-Tao Xie serves currently as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Schepens Eye Research Institute, Massachusetts Eye and Ear and Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA. He graduated from Tongji Medical College, Huzhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China in 2005. After his Ophthalmology Residency at Jingzhou Central Hospital, he received the Ph.D. degree at 2012 from the Department of Ophthalmology, Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College. He has completed a research fellowship at Ocular Surface Center, Miami, USA in 2011 and a short-term clinical fellowship at Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli, India in 2014. He used to practice at the Department of Ophthalmology, Union Hospital, as an Attending Ophthalmologist before coming to Boston. His publications include 2 book chapters and over 10 peer reviewed articals which were cited more than 280 times. He served as a reviewer for Tissue Engineering, Plos One, International Ophthalmology et al.
