Eric Pierre Guenin Pharm.D, Ph.D, MPH, RPh is the Medical Strategy Lead Respiratory (Cough & Throat) at Reckitt Benckiser. He is leading Cough and Cold global medical strategy initiatives for Mucinex, Delsym, Cepacol, Strepsils and other cough and cold local brands. He is also RB representative at CHPA pediatric cough efficacy task force. Prior to RB, Eric was leading clinical research projects in the respiratory therapeutic area at Novartis Consumer Health. During his tenure, he developed innovative clinical research design for claim substantiation. Prior to Novartis, Eric held positions of increasing responsibility in the medical affairs group at sanofi-aventis. He led medical affairs activities such as initiation of investigator sponsored trials, medical education programs, and organized advisory boards for new treatment of respiratory tract infections and allergy treatment.Eric holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Rennes University, France, a Ph.D in Pharmaceutics from Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey, a Business Degree from the I.A.E of Rennes, a Master of Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley. He is also a Registered Pharmacist in the state of New Jersey.
Eric has a keen interest in new treatments for COPD and cough. He is passionate about new clinical methodology to investigate effect of new therapies on respiratory diseases.
