Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umut Taşdemir graduated from Ankara University, Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Ankara, Turkey in 1994. After eight years, later he obtained PhD degree from Ankara University, Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Health Science Institute, Ankara, Turkey in 2002 and then he received associate professor title from Interuniversity Ccouncil bounded Higher Education Council, Ankara, Turkey in 2013. He has been training activity in USA and Japan at different times. Many times he provided training for artificial insemination on cattle. He is working Aksaray University as an associate professor at the moment. Besides, he is a board member of Turkish Veterinary Medicine Association and delegate of Federation Veterinary Europe.
His research interests are: Reproductive management of dairy cattle, bull semen collection, inspection, dilution and freezing, embryo collection and manuplation on cattle, laparoscopic artificial insemination in sheep and goat.
