Dr. Hazem M. Shaheen (MD., PhD.) He is the Head of Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Damanhour University, Damanhour, El-Behera Governorate, Egypt. He accomplished both MD and Ph.D in Veterinary Pharmacology from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt. He received a short term assignments (for 6 months). Scientifically, His principal research interests lie in the field of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of chemotherapeutic agents. His future research plans are to investigate about bacterial and parasitic resistances to different chemotherapeutics. In vivo pharmacokinetic studies performed in various species (cattle, rabbit, sheep, and goat) according to Good Laboratory Practice (writing of protocols/standard operating procedures/study reports, study design, performance of pharmacokinetics/statistical analyses of data). He is having outstanding records of scientific and academic achievements with multiple publications in highly impacted journals and various presentations in both national and international meetings (conferences and workshops).
