Dr. Vijayakumar is an Assistant Professor of Microbiology in College of Science Zulfi, Majmaah University in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has a doctorate in Microbiology from Bharathidasan University, India. He has over 15 years’ experience in ophthalmic pharmaceutical industry and microbiological research. He has written two books entitled ‘Cleanroom Microbiology’ by PDA DHI Publishers, USA and ‘Atlas – Fungal Corneal Ulcer and Diagnostic methods’ by Jaypee Publishers, India. He had published more than 20 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals. He is an eminent infection control auditor in an ophthalmic hospital setup. He received many awards from the international scientific committee. His current research work on ‘Biocides resistance mechanisms of environmental and clinical isolates’
