Cheryl Mele was a graduate from the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Pa.) with qualification in Pediatric Critical Care CNs and then she had obtained a post masters in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Acute-Chronic Care. She recently obtained her doctorate at Touro University (Henderson, NV) and her doctoral project entailed “Instructing APNs Students to Deliver Bad News to Patients/Families. She has worked in a variety of pediatric clinical settings from primary care, critical care, and special babies’ clinic. She currently works clinically at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Pain Management Team and Critical Care Medicine. Since 1991 she has been an educator and mentor for undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Her clinical expertise has been in neonatology, genetics and pain management and offered her clinical expertise to local, national and international pediatric community.
