Dr. Patricia G. Schneider, MD (1983), PhD (1994) from Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a Senior Scientist at Instituto de Biologia Celular y Neurociencia “Prof. Dr. E.De Robertis”, Facultad de Medicina, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. Schneider is full Professor at Department of Histology, Cellular Biology and Genetics at the School of Medicine, Buenos Aires University. She works in experimental epilepsy and study central muscarinic receptors changes after convulsant drugs administration, she developed and published several experimental epilepsy models. With her broad background of accomplishments in experimental epilepsy, she possesses the expertise and training to carry out the work outlined in this current proposal. Her research delves into understanding the mechanisms involved in onset, develop and spreading of induced seizures. During her scientific research career, she demonstrated continued productivity as evident through her scientific publications and numerous scientific abstracts, was jury of numerous contests and guest lecturer. She acted as a reviewer in international scientific journals.
