Biography

In 2012 Sofie Laage Christiansen graduated from Aarhus University (Denmark) with a Master of Science in Medical Chemistry. From 2013 to 2014 she worked as a research assistant at Translational Neuropsychiatry Unit (TNU), Department of Clinical Medicine, Denmark, and in 2016 she received a PhD in neuroscience at Aarhus University, Denmark. Currently she works as a postdoc at TNU. Sofie has been teaching several students as well as presenting her work at different conference both as invited speaker and selected speaker based on an abstract. Furthermore, during her years in the academic work she has won three scientific prizes and published her work in acknowledged journals.


Research Interest

Sofie Laage Christiansen´s research focused on depression, the circadian system, clock genes, the HPA axis and animal models of depression.
