Larysa M.Skivka is a professor of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine). She obtained her master degree (microbiology) in 1988 from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine). She has completed her PhD (oncology) in 1993 from R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology, NAS of Ukraine and and ScD (immunology) in 2013 from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She presently is working as a Head of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in Educational and Scientific Centre "Institute of Biology and Medicine" of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Dr. Larysa M.Skivka teaches graduate courses in Microbiology, Immunology and Immunochemistry as well as undergraduate courses in Reproductive Immunology. She is a member of Editorial Board of scientific journal Microbiology & Biotechnology and collaborates as peer-reviewer for several international journals. She is a member of European Society for Melanoma Research, European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) and Vynogradsíkyi Society of Microbiologists of Ukraine.
