Professor Roberto Ferrari works as Professor of Cardiology at the Santa Anna University Hospital of Ferrara.He trained at the Bologna School of Medicine in Italy.Professor Ferrari’s research interests concern the characterisation of the molecular mechanisms of the ischaemic and failing myocardium and the clinical treatment of myocardial ischaemia and heart failure, with a particular emphasis on interdisciplinary and collaborative studies. He has written 23 books and over 900 peer-reviewed papers on various subjects, including basic research.
