Dr Serap Süzük Yıldız graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Science. She completed her specialization degree in Ministry of Health Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. Also she competed doctorate degree in Gazi University, Faculty of Medicine and department of Microbiology. She is clinical microbiologist in Public Health Institution of Turkey, Antimicrobial Resistant References Laboratory. She is responsible for National Antimicrobial Resistant Surveillance System. National AMR Surveillance System is member of Central Asian and Eastern European Surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance (CAESAR) that coordinated World Health Organization. Moreover, she is mentor on antibiotic susceptibility test, quality control and surveillance system in CAESAR Network. She carries out external quality assessment studies on National AMR. These studies contain preparing samples, sending and evaluating of participant results. Besides AMR, she has been working on investigation of the effects of antibiotics on gut microbiota.
