Dr. Ivanka Štenc Bradvica is born in Našički Markovac, in Croatia, at 02.03.1968. She spent her early childhood in Germany till the age of eight years where she went to the first and second class of primary school so learned German well. She graduated at the Medical University in 1993. After that she worked one and a half year in the primary praxis. In 1995. she started her residency in neurology. She achieved the master degree in 2007. in the field of neurodegenerative disorders which are her special field of interest. The theme of her master thesis was: „ Atherosclerotic changes on the extracranial part of carotides in patient with vascular parkinsonism compared to patient with Parkinson disease “. After that she did her doctor thesis in the 2012. year with a work: „ The comparation of the specificity and sensitivity of transcranial sonography, Pocket Smell Test and Pelli Robson test to DaTSCAN in patient with Parkinson disease and essential tremor“.
Dr. Ivanka Štenc Bradvica’s Research interests are cerebrovascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, color dopller imaging, transcranial sonography.
