Claudia Landi a skilled researcher with a strong background and more than ten years of hands on experience in two Dimensional Electrophoresis, mass spectrometry technologies and bioinformatics. I hold a Ph.D in Biomedicine and Immunological Sciences in 2012 and am currently a Post-doc at the Functional Proteomic Lab., Life Science Dept. at Siena University. During my Ph D I worked on proteomic analysis of bronchoalveolar lavage from different interstitial lung diseases smoke correlated affected patients, in particular sarcoidosis, Pulmonary Langerhans Cells Histiocytosis, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and at the moment I’m working on a proteomic study on BAL of Systemic Sclerosis patients in order to highlight pathways as potential pharmacological targets to improve their life expectancy and quality of life. Moreover, I’m involved in a cystic fibrosis study of the modified pathways in pathological Human Bronchial epithelial cells.
