I was graduated in early 90’s at First Medical Faculty of Medical University of Warsaw. I worked in Teaching Hospital (Pneumonology & Allergology Dept) for several years as assistant and since 2000 I work in National TB & Lung Diseases Research Institute as a senior lecturer (Assistant professor). I am a board fully certified specialist in internal medicine (first and second degree) as well as in lung diseases. Privately I am a wife and mother of two children, I like to travel, explore and skiing.
At the beginning of my scientific route I was interested in lung function tests. My PhD dissertation (2004) was devoted to bronchial hyperreactivity in sarcoidosis patients. My scientific interest is directed to interstitial lung diseases (namely sarcoidosis with heart involvement and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis). I am involved in international projects (eg. rare diseases registry). I am author and coauthor of over 40 scientific publications including original and review articles, case studies (total Impact Factor >50) and over 70 works presented at domestic and international conferences. I am also author of 5 chapters in textbooks and monographs.
