She graduated cum laude from University of Pisa in 2010 with an MD degree in Medicine and Surgery. In 2016, she completed her 5-year residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at “Sapienza” University of Rome cum laude (directed by Professor Pierluigi Benedetti Panici). Throughout the residency, she went at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Charles University of Prague as Clinical Observer under supervision of Professor Daniela Fischerova and Professor David Cibula. She joined the course “Intensive course in gynecologic oncology scanning and implementation of ultrasound into the management of patients with gynecological cancer”. Furthermore during the training program, she performed a 6-month Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncologic Surgery following Professor Christina Fotopoulou in the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Hammermith Hospital (Imperial College of London). Moreover, she participated as Clinical and Research Fellow in multicentric studies supported by “Ovarian Action Research Centre”. Between August and September 2016 she went as specialist volunteer with CUAMM in humanitarian missions at Tosamaganga Hospital, Mikumi Hospital and CCBRT Hospital in Dar Es Salam (Tanzania, Africa). Her training has been focused on gynaecological oncology treatment and management, mainly on developing surgical skills. She received complementary training in colposcopy, maternal-fetal medicine, general gynecology, laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery. She published several papers in national and international journals and she participated as invited speaker in numerous international congresses. Currently she is working on various research projects as PhD specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at “Sapienza” University of Rome (PhD Course in Oncology since November 2016). She is a member of several national and international societies such as ESGO, IGCS, SPIGC, SIPCV.
