Dr. Akihiko Ueda graduated from Kyoto University school of medicine. After completing his OB/GYN residency at Kyoto University hospital and Kurashiki central hospital, he obtained his Maternal Fetal Medicine and Minimally Invasive Surgery training at Saiseikai Noe Hospital. He is Board certificated Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Majority of his professional activities evolved in the hospital where he managed high-risk pregnancy including preeclampsia and performed minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries. He involved in several cohort studies, which translate basic research into clinical fields. He is a member of numerous professional societies, including the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Japan Society of Perinatal and Neonatal Medicine, Japan Society of Gynecologic Oncology, and Japan Society of Gynecologic and Obstetric Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy. He is author of many papers published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He is recognized speaker in national and international congresses.
