He completed my medical training at the Cerrahpaşa Medical School of Medicine (2002) and fellowship training at the Faculty of Medicine of Istanbul in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (2008). He worked as a faculty member at the Meram Faculty of Medicine, Konya. He is currently an Associate Professor of child and adolescent psychiatry since 2012. He completed several training programmes including, group psychotherapy - drama (2004-2008), play therapy (2006-2007), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (2005-2007) and Dynamic Psychotherapy (2005 - 2009) training. He authored more than 70 papers in national and international journals; edited two books and authored/co-authored more than 10 book chapters. He received more than 10 national and international scholarships and awards including APA, ESCAP, IACAPAP, and INSAR. He is the Reviewer Board Member in more than 30 national and international journals.
Main research interest is on neurobiology of developmental disorders including autism, eating disorders and ADHD.
