Mr. Abin Varghese earned his bachelor degree in 2008,masters in psychiatric nursing in 2012 from the prestigious institute AIIMS, New Delhi. He completed his internship as an RN/RM from Ananthapuri Hospitals and Research Institute ,Trivandrum, Kerala. His areas of research focus are mainly on aggression,violence,infection control and other mental health aspects. He joined the department of Psychiatry AIIMS in 2012 as an RN/RM to get more clinical orientation in the areas of mental health. He joined as a faculty in the school of nursing of BMHRC under Govt.of India to get focused with academics and research and still is continuing in the post. He is working as a scientific committee member and reviewer for various national and international journals. His current areas of work include projects dealing with infection control, student psychology ,curriculum review, participating in the WHO ICD 11 review ,collaborating in Cochrane systematic reviews and drafting chapters for nursing research and mental health nursing.
