Dr Olga Wetterlöv Charyeva is a practicing clinician and researcher. Her research field is implantology, biomaterials and prosthodontics. She received her dental degree at Malmö University, Sweden followed by PhD at Justus-Liebig University, Germany, under the prestigious framework of the European Commission's Marie Curie grant. She worked at New York College of Dentistry; USA, Helmholtz Zentrum Geesthacht (HZG); Germany, and Kazakh National Medical University Almaty; Kazakhstan. She also was a visiting researcher at Medical University of Graz; Austria, and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven; Belgium. Dr Wetterlöv Charyeva research work focused on implant development for industrial company AAP Biomaterials and Implants GmbH, Germany. During her entire tenure she has not only contributed to numerous publications and conferences but is also an active reviewer by several scientific journals as well as a member of the editorial boards. During her career, Dr Wetterlöv Charyeva has successfully supervised master students and has received several prizes for her research and clinical work. She was awarded various research grants, totaling around 500,000 euros.
