Dr. Asma Bouziri is an Associate Professor in pediatrics at the University of Tunis-El Manar, Faculty of Medicine of Tunis (Tunisia). Graduated from Faculty of Medicine of Tunis and pediatrics residency training at Tunisia. Pediatric and neonatal critical care training at Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital, Paris, (France). Holder of the university degree of peadiatric resuscitation and emergency (Paris-sud faculty of medicine). Member (since 2001) of the pediatric intensive care unit at Children’s Hospital of Tunis (Tunisia), the largest treatment facility for children in Tunisia. PICU of Children’s Hospital of Tunis is the first and the only formal 14-bed PICU in the country, admitting about 750 pediatric patients per year. Reviewer in national and international journals since 2010 Team Member of INICC (International Nosocomial Infection Control Consortium) since 2014.
