Biography

Dr. Pietro Valerio Foti is a native of Catania, Italy. He attended University of Catania, where graduated Magna Cum Laude in Medicine and Surgery, and specialized in Radiodiagnostic. As a medical student he attended also University of Bialystok (Poland) and University of Odense (Denmark); as a post-graduate student he attended the Department of Radiological Sciences of the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy). He works as radiologist at the Radiodiagnostic and Radiotherapy Unit, University Hospital “Policlinico-Vittorio Emanuele” of Catania, Italy. He is teacher of three Degree Courses and of the Post Graduate School of Radiodiagnostic at the University of Catania. He is author/co-author of over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals, one book, several communications and posters at national and international congress. He is reviewer of various peer-reviewed journals. He is member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) since 2004 and of the “Società Italiana di Radiologia Medica” (SIRM) since 2001.
