Biography

Sara Shishehgar got her Bachelor degree in Midwifery in 2003 and Master’s degree in reproductive health in 2013. She is doing her PhD at University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. From 2004 to 2012 she worked in Social Security Organisation as a midwife. From 2011 to 2013 she worked as a clinical educator and research assistant in University of Shahid Beheshti of Iran. After commencement her PhD, Sara started her cooperation with peer-review journals as reviewer and editorial member. She also serves as an academic tutor and research assistant at University of Technology, Sydney in Australia. Sara’s research focuses on women’s health, with a particular emphasis on asylum seeker and refugee population’s mental health.
