Dr. Olfat Abou Zeid is consultant neurologist and assistant professor of neurology. Obtained her PhD in neuroscience from Australian National university, Australia. Has great interest in the field of neurology and neuroscience. Her research interest is in the field of movement and memory. Her most recent publication was in the field of peripheral neuropathy. Currently working as neurologist in Saudi Arabia and assistant professor of neurology. Coordinates many courses in the medical school in one of the outstanding universities in Saudi Arabia, besides conducting her own research on the field of neurology. Dr. Zeid also presented her work in neurology worldwide in many conferences for example, America, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Japan and Philippine. Dr. Zeid is extremely interested in versatile neurology research fields and wishes one day ALS ( amyotrophic lateral scelerosis) can be cured with continuous research hopes in this particular field. One of her research which was currently published she found that facial nerve paralysis even with worst grade ( house Pokémon grading system) can be readily treated with abrupt medication together with alternative medicine known as wet cupping, an innovative treatment alternative in the particular field of neurology.
Dr. Olfat Abou Zeid has particular interest in the neurological complications following chronic disease like diabetes in noncompliant patients. Having that as an extra burden on those patients, Dr. zeid hopes that more research can be focused towards such specific field with great hope to find answers to many unanswered questions in that field.
