Paulo Campos (MD, MSc, PhD) has a Doctorate Degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa – Portugal. He conducted his doctorate thesis on the placental malaria in Luanda-Angola, 2011. He holds a Master Degree in Medical Education from Agostinho Neto University since 2012. He has been a Titular Professor at the same University and Head of Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of its Medical Faculty. His special interests are at improving maternal health care as well as teaching, training and supervising both under and postgraduate doctors. He has supervised several MSc and doctorate thesis in the fields of Public and Reproductive Health. He is currently presides over the AGOA (Association of Gynaecologists & Obstetricians of Angola) since 2010 as well as the Professional Ethics Center of the Angolan Medical Council since 2009. He was the co-founder and President of CAOL (Coordination of Obstetric Care in Luanda) for several years as well as Former General Director of Lucrécia Paím Maternity Hospital – Luanda/Angola. He has been a peer reviewer of several journal manuscripts since 2015. He is a Member of Medical Council of Angola (Nr. 0091) since 1978; South African Medical Association - SAMA (Nr. 71305); East, Central and Southern African Association of Obstetrical and Gynecological Societies -(ECSAOGS) and Regional Prevention of Maternal Mortality (RPMM) - Accra – Ghana since 2004. He published several articles in Angolan, Brazilian and English Journals about malaria in pregnancy.
