Dr. Carlotta Spagnoli graduated in Medicine at Parma University and trained as a child neuropsychiatrist at Parma University-Hospital in Parma, Italy. She spent one year as Visiting Fellow in Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, UK. After completing her training, she worked on the “ER-Mito” project for 2 years in Santa Maria Nuova Hospital in Reggio Emilia, Italy, where she is now working as a consultant. She has published 29 scientific papers on peer-reviewed, international, indexed journals (current h-index= 5, h-index excluding self-citations= 3), she co-authored one book chapter for John Libbey Eurotext and is author or co-author of various posters at both national and international congresses, mainly focusing on neonatal seizures and epilepsy. She has been a member of the LICE (Italian chapter of the ILAE) since 2012.
Dr. Carlotta Spagnoli's research interests are: neonatal seizures, neonatal EEG, epilepsy in infancy, childhood and adolescence, paediatric EEG, paediatric neurology.
