Li-Li is a senior lecturer at the School of Chemical and Life Sciences, Singapore Polytechnic (SP). She has over 20 years of teaching experience in optometry, firstly in National University of Malaysia (UKM), then at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University before she joined SP in 2006. While serving as an honorary lecturer at SP-University of Manchester program, she was also a visiting lecturer for the MSc Optometry program in UKM. Li-Li is a fully registered optometrist in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore. She is advisor of the Paediatric Interest Group, Association of Malaysian Optometrist (AMO), a certified Optometrist for the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAANZ) and an associate member of the College of Optometrist in Vision Development (COVD). She was also part of the Singapore OOB Vision Training Review Committee reviewing vision therapy guidelines and practices. Li-Li has numerous paper and poster publications in the areas of accommodation/binocular vision, diabetic eyes and more recently dry eye and ocular thermography. She has a book chapter publication in the area of ocular thermography in 2011. Li-Li has been regularly participating in continuing education programs as a speaker, both locally and overseas and she has just completed her PhD at The University of Manchester.
