Tapan Behl is working as Senior Research Fellow and is currently working in Medical Pharmacology in Department of Pharmacology, Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, Delhi, India. He has been awarded with Gold Medal for his strong and excellent academic performance. He has also done Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration, Diploma in Clinical Trials, Research and Administration, Online Honor Code Certificate Course in Introduction to Biomedical Imaging. In the past, he has been a proud recipient of awards like “Rashtriya Gaurav Award”, “Dr. Ambedkar Youth Dignity Award”, “Best Young Researcher Award-2015”, “Young Scientist Award”. Additionally, he has also received scholarship from Sir Rattan Tata Memorial Trust, Mumbai, India for his excellent performance in academics during his postgraduation. He is a recognized research guide and has supervised students for the award of M.Pharmacy Degree and B. Pharmacy Degree. He had successfully completed 14 research projects. He has attended many National and International Conferences and delivered oral presentations in which he received various prestigious awards. He is also serving as reviewer of many reputed journals. He has extensively worked on diabetes and associated diabetic complication and is proud recipient of many publications to his credit. He has also published International books and is continuously engaged in exploring the hidden mechanisms in the diabetes and related complications.
My research interest include diabetes, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic neuropathy, diabetic nephropathy, cataractogenesis, alcoholic neuropathy.
