Dr. Chaitanya P. Joshi (BDS, MDS) is a registered Periodontist from India. He completed his bachelors from “MGV KBH dental college & Hospital” and masters in Periodontology and Implantology from “MGV KBH Dental College & Hospital” in year 2016. He has great interest in various aspects of patient centric general clinical practise with special attention to periodontal care & oral implant therapy. All through his masters program, he had been actively involved in the field of periodontal research including basic in-vitro studies to various randomised clinical trials. He has presented various research papers at National and International conferences and got acclaimed for it. He had consistently won best scientific paper award in all three years of his post-graduate life at “Indian Society of Periodontology” post-graduate conventions. He has also won two travel awards to present his paper at international conferences. He has done 5 presentations at National and 10 presentations at International conferences. He has won 9 best paper presentation awards so far. He has also published a book on “Virulence Factors: The armour of periopathogens” in 2016. He has worked on various projects in collaboration with prestigious tissue bank at “Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India”. He has 11 publications at various National and International journals. In recent times, he has been awards as “Best Pan-India Post-graduate student of the Year” by Indian Association of Dental Students (IADS) and Indian Health Professional Awards (IHPA). He was also nominated for prestigious Famdent Awards 2016 for “Best Post-grauate student” and “Best dental researcher”. Currently he is also serving as an editorial member & a reviewer in “International Journal of Periodontology & Implantology”. He is dedicated and enthusiastic in conducting dental research projects involving innovative patient centric therapeutic approaches.
