Dr Camila Martins is Post-PhD candidate at the Department of Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Received her PhD in Veterinary Sciences, with emphasis in experimental epidemiology applied to zoonosis, in the same university and DVM in the Federal University of Parana, Brazil. Currently, she is envolved in studies about rabies surveillance (bats, dogs and cats), risk analysis of food, pet population management in urban areas, urban rats and animal hoarders. She is responsible by the course “Meta-analysis in veterinary medicine” for post-graduate students at the University of Sao Paulo.
