Dra. Andrťia Anschau got his Bachelorís in Food Engineering at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), Brazil in 2008. She is Master in Food Engineering (2010) and PhD in Chemical Engineering (2014) at State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). She did one year of collaborative period with the Chemical Engineering Department at Unveristat AutÚnoma de Barcelona (UAB) during her PhD. She is currently a Professor at the graduated course of Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology and at the master's degree course of Biotechnology at the Federal University of Technology (UTFPR), Brazil. Dra. Anschau has expertize on Industrial Fermentation Processes, Bioenergy and Biomass fields. She is also specialist on the experimental design and process optimization, protein purification processes, enzymatic synthesis for the production of flavors, microbial production of lipids, removal of dyes from effluents by low cost adsorbents and the use of agroindustrial residues to obtain products with high added value. Currently, Dra. Anschau coordinates several scientific projects mentoring undergraduate, Masters and PhD students in her Laboratory. Dra. Anschau also serves as board member to Scientific International Indexed Journals and Scientific Committees.
