Dr. Ramnath Santosh Ramanathan completed his medical school from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, in India. Following this he pursued postgraduate internal medical residency training from Sheth Vadilal Sarabhai hospital, in the city of Ahmedabad in India. Since Dr. Ramanathan was always interested in Neurology, after working a year at Max Superspecialty hospital in the Neurology department at New Delhi, the capital of India, he moved to the United States to pursue his dream of working in the field of Neurology. In the US he joined post graduate Neurology residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following which he did a Vascular Neurology fellowship from the highly ranked and prestigious Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board certified in Neurology, Vascular Neurology and Hypertension. He has numerous publications to his name in Neurology and subspecialties of Neurology like stroke, neuroimmunology among others. His work has been published in reputed and high impact journals like Neurology, BMC Neurology, and Journal of clinical neuromuscular disease, to name a few.
Dr. Ramanathan is currently working as clinical Neurologist with Akron Neurology Inc., in Ohio and continues his clinical research interest in various subspecialties of Neurology with special focus on stroke, headache, and neuroimmunology.
