Dr. Pedro Roldán received his MD from the University of Valencia (Spain) in 2008. He started his residency in Neurosurgery in the Department of Neurosurgery at Son Espases University Hospital in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. After 5 years of surgical training he obtained his specialist title in Neurosurgery in 2013. He has been in the Unit of Functional Neurosurgery in Queens Square Hospital, London. PhD on surgery of brain tumors assisted with Intraoperative Magnetic Resonance Imaging; he also has numerous publications on neurostimulation and intraoperative imaging. Collaborating professor on the degree of medicine at the University of Barcelona. Actually, he works as well as Staff Neurosurgeon in Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, Hospital Quirón Barcelona and Clínica Diagonal. During the past years, he has developed special interest in the field of Functional Neurosurgery, as well as Neurooncology, field in which he is developing the, major part of his actual work.
Dr. Pedro Roldán is focused his research in the field of Functional Neurosurgery, Neurooncology, and the use of modern intraoperative neuroimaging techniques as Intraoperative Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Intraoperative CT scanning.
