Dr. Manuel Roca grew up in Castellon, Spain. He completed his Medical School curriculum in Universitat Rovira i Virgili, at Reus, Spain. He passed the National Exam to start the official residency program in Ophthalmology, and now, January 2017, he is in the late phase of his residency in that specialty, in Hospital Provincial of Castellon, Spain. He attends on a daily basis medical and surgical Ophthalmology. He has completed a Masterís Degree in contact lens adaptation. He is a collaborating teacher in University Jaume I of Castellon, Spain, where he lectures on Infectious Disease of the eye. He has published eight scientific articles in JCR indexed medical journals, on general Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. He has carried out several scientific presentations in Medical meetings.
His research interest is focused on diabetic macular edema pathogenesis and on infections of the eye. He plans to present his doctoral thesis on infectious diseases.
