Dr. Qihui Wang obtained her Master degree in Bioengineering at the University of Harbin Institute of Technology in 2006. She obtained her Ph.D degree in 2012 at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences on Cell biology. She has been working at Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2012, first as a Postdoc, then an Assistant Professor and now an Associated Professor. Now she is mainly focusing on two subjects: 1) the mechanism of enveloped viruses binding to their receptors and 2) identification of potential therapeutic neutralizing antibdies targeting emerging infection disease. She has published papers in reputed journals, including Nature, Science Translational Medicine, Cell Host&Microbe, Cell Research and Antiviral Research on these subjects.
