Biography

Siamak Yousefi received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is currently a Research Scientist at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) where he is conducting research on ophthalmic data mining and machine learning. Before joining UCSD, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) conducting research on Brain Computer Interface (BCI). His research areas include biomedical data mining, machine learning, and image analysis. Dr. Yousefi is a member of the Association in Research and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and a senior member of the Institute of the electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
