Biography

Dr. Xiaoming Du is the TMS lab manager and a post-doc researcher in Dr. Elliot Hong's lab at Maryland Psychiatric Research Center, University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Du received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Dual bachelor's degree in Management Studies from Peking University, China. After graduation, he obtained his Ph.D in Cognitive neuroscience in 2011 from Chinese Academy of Sciences. He then received a postdoctoral fellowship in the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center.


Research Interest

Dr. Xiaoming Du's research involved in Understanding the mechanism of Schizophrenia by using various techniques, such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), electroencephalography (EEG) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Providing repetitive TMS treatment to the symptoms of schizophrenia.
